The peony flower is Nelly's favorite flower symbolizing ephemeral beauty, romance and delicacy. In this design Nelly rendered the Peony in 18 karat champagne gold, a custom alloy she designed and made in her NYC studio. Each petal is shaped and finished by hand, creating a piece that is not just beautiful to look at and wear but that inspires the imagination and the tactile instinct as each petal moves up and down the stem, just like a peony made by nature. This is a piece designed to be worn or placed on the desk or anywhere you'd like to serve as a sculptural object designed to be displayed. No two pieces are ever identical as each petal is unique
